Yak fibre lends a natural grey colour to this base which gives a beautiful depth of colour when dyed. Silk adds shine and superwashed merino wool gives a soft and supple hand without felting.
Our range of ready-to-dye yarn are pre-scoured so you can focus on the actual dyeing. All you have to do is fully wet out the yarn in warm water for at least 3 hours or overnight before mordanting and dyeing.
