What is Fibre Art? You may wonder. Fibre art is exactly what it sounds like – fibre (wool, cotton, silk and other fibres) + a bit of creativity and know-how = Art!
In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn how to create textured fibre art using the latch hooking technique. We will start the class with a simple colour theory exercise to get your creative juices flowing. After you have decided on the colour palette, we will then plan your grid design and dive in.
After a few rounds of practice, you will spend a couple of relaxing hours creating textures and filling up the canvas space. Lastly, you will also learn to finish the artwork and turn it into a statement home decor.
Your finished piece will be housed inside a wooden shadow box with a cute locket ready to be gifted or proudly displayed at home.
All materials are provided, simply rock up at our studio and immerse yourself in hours of fun and craft therapy! A set of latch hook and yarn will be yours to take home at the end of the workshop for more hooking fun.

Our studio workshop class size is kept small and cosy with a maximum of 8 participants per group to ensure each individual gets quality guidance from our instructor.
Please note that workshop slot may be rescheduled should the minimum class size of 3 pax is not met. You will be notified of any changes at least 2 days before the workshop.
