** Please note this is a TWO-PART Workshop with 2 weeks in between for you to complete stitching your cushion cover at home.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Part 1 • 2 hours • We will spend the first part of the workshop learning basic stitched shibori techniques and design tips to achieve the most ideal stitched shibori patterns. You will then begin to plot and stitch your cushion cover.
Part 2 • 2 hours • It's time to dye! Make sure you nring your stitched and gathered cushion cover for this session. You will learn to work with indigo and dye your desired shade of blue in our organic indigo vat. After dyeing, we will carefully remove the stitches, unveiling your cushion cover designs!
Please come dressed in clothes that you don’t mind getting some dye on. Aprons and gloves will be provided too if you need them.
This workshop is limited to 4 participants. Do note that workshop slot may be rescheduled should the minimum class size of 2 pax is not met. You will be notified of any changes at least 2 days before the workshop.
