Day 1 (2.5 hrs): Natural Dyeing & “Mudcloth” Painting
• Learn to extract natural dyes from tannin-rich sources such as henna, black tea, pomegranate, and onion skins.
• Understand the science behind natural dyeing and how to achieve different shades and tones.
• Prepare "mud paste" for painting.
• Create stunning mudcloth-inspired patterns on your hand-dyed fabric.
Day 2 (1.5 hrs): Finishing Steps
• Remove painted mud paste.
• Neutralise your painted fabric.
• Understand steps to take for colourfast fabric.
